Important Notes:-
- Senior citizen get an extra interest rate which is 0.50% more than the general public interest rate.
- Loan facility/overdraft facility against term deposit allowed here.
- PNB provides different term deposit options with schemes named Sugam Term Deposits, Multi-Benefit, Special, Ordinary, and Anupam Term Deposit Schemes etc.
- The additional rate of interest@ 0.50% for senior citizen is not applicable for NRO Term deposits.
