Block Your ATM Card through Mobile Banking

The State Bank of India launched its mobile baking application named YONO which is abbreviated as YOU ONLY NEED ONE. Through YONO SBI offers many numbers of services to their customers. You can Block Your ATM Card through the YONO app which also offers services related to ATM Card Block. Here are the steps by which you can block your SBI Debit Card by YONO.

•  Log in to your YONO app
• Go to ‘Service Request’ and click the ‘Block ATM/Debit Card’ option
• Fill up your Internet banking profile password
• Enter your card details and choose the reason for blocking your card
• You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number, then enter the OTP and verify the same

Block Your Debit Card through Internet Banking

• Visit www.onlinesbi.com
• By using all details like username and password you can log in to the SBI Net banking portal.
• Select the ‘ATM card service>Block ATM Card link under the “e-service tab.
• Select the account, under which you want to block your debit card.
• All the active and blocked cards will be displayed on your screen. now you can see the first 4 and last 4 digits of the debit card.
• Select the card you want to block and press on submit button. Now you can verify the all details and confirm it.
• Choose a mode like SMS, OTP, and Profile password.
• Enter OTP, or Profile password as you can choose and click confirm. A message would be displayed with a ticket no. after blocking your debit card.

You can block your SBI ATM card by simply calling on SBI Toll-free no. through 24 x 7 helpline (1800-11-22-11/1800-425-3800/+9180-26599990)  from your registered mobile number or visit the link for more information https://bank.sbi/

By SMS

You can block SBI ATM cards through SMS also. All you have to do is to SMS to the bank. You have to send the predefined SMS to the bank. Type BLOCK XXXX (XXXX-Last 4 digits of your debit Card) and send it to the 567676. You have to send this SMS by your registered mobile number only.

You will receive the confirmation SMS regarding the disabling of your ATM card along with the complaint number, Ticket no. etc.

If you are not satisfied with the above techniques then go to the nearest bank branch and ask the bank employee to help you to block your card and apply for a new one with your home branch.
